Why it's useful
Your baby's skin is very delicate. You should not use an adult sponge or loofah on your little one. Instead, you can use soft wash clothes or bath mittens to lather your baby's skin with soap or body wash.
What to consider
Materials:
Look for ultra-soft wash clothes and mittens.
We recommend getting GOTS or OEKO-TEX wash cloths / mittens made from natural materials to minimize the risk of dermal exposure to harsh chemicals. GOTS also ensure that the blankets were made in a sustainable way, both from environmental and social perspectives.
Important! We recommend pre-washing all textile baby items before using to minimize the chance that any residual chemicals or packing dust don’t irritate your baby’s skin.
Design:
Fun mitten designs can make bath time engaging for your little one, especially as they get older and don't want to stay still. Many mittens double as puppets!
How many to get
One wash cloth or mitten per day, plus a couple extra just in case things get super messy. So if you do laundry once a week, we recommend keeping nine on hand.
