Alison is an experienced International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Maternal & Child Health with a specialization in Human Lactation. She has helped many families through breastfeeding support and education and was voted top IBCLC of Rhode Island by Momunity in 2019.
Alison is a mom of two wonderful kids. She decided to become a lactation consultant after her own experience and struggles of breastfeeding and pumping for a premature child and then breastfeeding a tongue- and lip-tied child. She understands that breastfeeding is not easy for everyone and strives to provide individualized care for each family.
